Sermon: “Rooted in the Past, Abiding in Christ, Bearing Fruit for the Future” - New Sunday School Summer Learning in Community – starting June 1, 2025.
“Solitude, Prayer, and Scripture – Spiritual Practices to help us abide in Jesus.” By Pastor Joseph Yu. - Starting in the month of June, we will be hosting a bible study initiative to continue to encourage one another in studying God’s words together. This will be a bi-weekly session (every 2 weeks) on weekdays from 7-9 pm from June to August meeting in person at church. Please indicate on the sign up if you are able to attend Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays. - There is a church wide “Prayer Walk” initiative for the month of June. We encourage individuals, small groups or fellowships to go out into our neighbourhood to pray for our neighbours. We have some suggested spots for prayer walks, and prayer items in our google form. As well as a place for you to share your prayer experiences and photos so that we can encouraged each other to pray.

Thanksgiving dinner and devotional meeting (joined service): October 11
Thanksgiving Sunday Service: October 12 - VBS will be held in the afternoons this year from August 18th to 22nd, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM. It will be a fun and meaningful week where children can learn about God through Bible stories, songs, games, and activities. It will be a great opportunity for the children in our community and neighborhood to build friendships and grow in faith together. Registration will begin June 14th & 15th (Sat. & Sun.) for K to Grade 6. The cost for each child will be $50 for the week. If you have any questions, please send an email to lucyli@vcefc.org.

- Please note that the underground parking is reserved for seniors and families with babies/toddlers on Sundays. And to make sure you do not park at the back lane or on our neighbours’ property.

- As the church continue to grow, we have noticed that more and more brothers and sisters in church may share the same first and last names. Please make sure to include your phone number (or mailing address) on the Offering Envelop or on the Remarks Section for e-transfer to avoid confusion on your Donation Slip.

- In addition to the regular prayer meetings on Wednesday, we invite you in praying for Mission and Evangelism on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:30 to 8:30pm.
