- March – May Sunday School Classes:
The Book of Genesis III taught by Hansel Wang
Genesis III is the third and last course in the series on the Book of Genesis. This course will begin with the life of Jacob and end with that of Joseph. It completes the story of how God intervenes in the dysfunctional family of Abraham, not allowing human sins and errors to thwart His plan of salvation. He has to transform Israel from a conflictual family into a nation both physically and spiritually.
Epistle to the Romans taught by Francis Tong
Romans I is the first course session to survey the teaching of Apostle Paul in the letter of Romans. It will cover key theological thoughts and practical issues of the first eight chapters. The focus will be how Christians as God’s Elects are to fully respond to Jesus’s gospel that is not limited to “Justification by faith” for individual salvation, but also the establishing of a close relationship with God for righteous living. Discussions will further unfold what pertains to obedient Christian testimonies that Jesus’s followers can freely express their faith as more than conquerors amidst human weaknesses and the world’s corruption.
