Mixed Age | Steven Wei | Once a month, Saturdays 7-8:30pm | Welcome to our intergenerational Bible study group! We are a community of people from different age groups and backgrounds who come together to explore the timeless wisdom of the Bible. Our group is open to everyone, from young adults to seniors, and we believe that everyone has something unique to contribute to our discussions. Our aim is to foster meaningful connections across generations and to learn from each other’s perspectives and life experiences. Whether you are a seasoned Bible scholar or new to the faith, there is a place for you in our group. Our Bible study sessions are designed to provide a safe and welcoming space where participants can share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn from each other. We believe that inter generational Bible study offers a unique opportunity to gain new perspectives and insights, as well as deepen our understanding of God’s message. We currently meet at least once a month on Saturdays 7pm-8-30pm online via Zoom. However, we are always open to meeting in person if it works with member’s schedules. We invite you to join us on this journey of discovery and growth in our faith. Contact: steven_wei126@hotmail.com |
Young Families | Deb Lum | Twice a month on 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1-4pm | We are a group of young families who meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month around 1-4pm. Usually our venue is at church, but occasionally we may meet in someone’s home or go on outings. As a group of young families, we understand the unique challenges and joys of raising children in today’s world, and we offer each other guidance, encouragement, and fellowship as we navigate this important role. Through regular meetings, discussions, and activities, we build meaningful relationships with one another and with God, strengthening our faith and our bonds as a community. With a shared love for God and a desire to grow spiritually, our group provides a welcoming and inclusive space for all members to connect and engage with one another. Contact: deb.lum@me.com |
Men’s Devotional | Lawrence Tung | 4th Sunday of the month | We are a group of young men who meet every 4th Sunday of the month with the occasional addition of bonding activities through food and recreation. We meet regularly at the church and occasionally at each other’s homes or go on outings. We are a group who are intentional in growing in faith and providing a safe space for accountability and encouragement to be better Christ followers. Some studies we have done as a group are the books of 1st and 2nd Samuel, 1st and 2nd Kings, topical studies on Christian Dating, and what it means to be a young Christian man in today’s society. At the moment, we are doing the organic disciples program with the intention of learning what it means to be a strong disciple of Christ and later discovering our gifts to see how we can better serve the community and greater church. Cornelius Fellowship | Hansel Wang | Twice a month on 2nd and 4th Sundays from 1:30 – 3:30pm | We are a group of brothers and sisters who are close to or of retirement age. We meet regularly on the first and the third of Sundays from 1:30 to 3:30pm at the church every month. Our fellowship is mandated by the Scriptures (eg. Col 3:15-17, etc.) for Bible study, mutual encouragement through sharing hymns and the words of God, and caring for the spiritual and physical well-being of fellow group members. At the moment, we are studying the Book of Exodus on the third Sunday and going through the Organic Disciples program on the first Sunday. We are interested in building ourselves up by exploring together spiritual topics that are relevant to our stage of life and seeking opportunities to use our gifts to serve the rest of the church family. Young Adult | Chris Wang and Darren Lau | Twice a month on 2nd and 4th Sundays at 2pm | We are a group of young adults (working and in school). Our focus this year is on organic discipleship and our aptly-named learning material, Organic Disciples, leads the way. We aim to grow closer as fellow Christians through personal sharing and our intentional time together. Contact: chris.yan.wang@gmail.com |
Lady’s Group | Sheena Soon | 3-4 times a month on Fridays | We are a group of five caring and thoughtful ladies in our 30s who are committed to follow Jesus Christ. We meet virtually or in-person every Friday evening 3-4 times a month to study the Bible, pray together, and share life experiences to edify one another. We see that commitment and consistency are important aspects of group life. We are thankful to God for bringing up together, where we can support one another in tangible ways. We are looking for new members to join us. Contact: sheenasoon03@hotmail.com |
