  • At the present stage, instead of reopening in-person worship service, the congregation is encouraged to form worship hubs in terms of fellowships or small groups to worship together online through zoom or web-ex. Worship hub leaders, please report to the church with your worship hub name and attendance every week after service by email to peterlai@vcefc.org.
  • Due to the current pandemic emergent condition as declared by the government of B.C., our in-person election process has to be suspended. The Board has decided to use the mail-in voting process to ensure that all members can vote in closed ballots. A voting package was sent out to each member of the Church by mail on October 19. Members will be requested to return the closed ballots to the Church by mail (pre-paid return envelops will be provided as part of the voting package), and all ballots must be received by Nov 6 to be valid. As well, to accommodate this mailing process, the AGM for 2020 will be held on Nov 8 at 2 pm as an online information meeting (Please join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87214924887 around 15 minutes earlier before it start for admission. Meeting ID: 872 1492 4887).   • Brother Daniel Sun has agreed to serve as an administrative assistant on a temporary part-time basis. Beginning immediately, he will assist Peter in various administrative tasks until the administrator position is filled. May God bless his ministry among us.

  • Fall Online Sunday School: Fall online Sunday school semester has begun. There are three classes available for enrolment.  1. The Subversion of Christianity II / Philemon – Hansel Wang 2.   • ONLINE OFFERING: As our church has temporary suspended all gatherings and moved our weekly worship services online during the COVID-19 pandemic, you have the option to give your offering through Interac e-transfer.
