Duration ranges from two weeks to two years. Teams usually go out in the summer, from May to August. Limited financial assistance may be granted upon request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Endorsed Agencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>VCEFC endorses short-term missions organized by mission entities of Evangelical Free Church such as Evangelical Free Church of Canada Mission and Evangelical Free Church of America International Mission. The following non-EFC agencies are also endorsed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Breakthrough<\/li>\n<li>Campus Crusade for Christ (CCC)<\/li>\n<li>Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF)<\/li>\n<li>Chinese Christian Mission (CCM)<\/li>\n<li>CGBC<\/li>\n<li>Chinese Overseas Christian Missions (COCM)<\/li>\n<li>Evangelical Medical Aid Society (EMAS)<\/li>\n<li>Go International<\/li>\n<li>Intervarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF)<\/li>\n<li>Medicare Resources<\/li>\n<li>Overseas Missions Fellowship (OMF)<\/li>\n<li>Serving in Mission (SIM)<\/li>\n<li>Wycliffe Bible Translators (WBT)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To facilitate participation in short-term missions, the Missions Department regularly collects relevant information from endorsed agencies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial Assistance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each year VCEFC budgets an amount to subsidise short-term mission participants. Approval of all applications for financial assistance is based on the current <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/vcefc.org\/english\/missions\/Policy\/ShortTermMissionsFeb2008Policy.doc\">Short-term Missions Funding Policy<\/a><\/span>.
